Specialist Pricing
Objectives of the Position:
Mercedes-Benz South Africa, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler who has an international footprint is looking for a Specialist Pricing for their Mercedes-Benz Cars division.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
To support the MBC AS business by managing and analysing pricing trends in relation to revenue growth.
- Support the Product Specialist in identifying parts trends and implementing retail campaigns to increase parts sales revenue.
- To identify opportunities using the pricing lever as a means to increase revenue and grow the AS business in compliance to the Company’s Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E.Q requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E.Q tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Parts Pricing:

To analyse current and future parts pricing to develop a pricing approach that will support the key AS strategic objectives.

To monitor and analyse the impact of price adjustments on parts sales.

Net Revenue Customer Pay OP Planning.

Annual Price Alignment.

Tyre Price Alignment.
Global Pricing System:
-
To facilitate all local requirements via the DAG pricing team.

To manage and implement new pricing tools, i.e. PEP.
-
To ensure that sticker prices and discount group logic is maintained in the system.

Annual Price alignment implementation as per OP agreement.

Campaign pricing implementation.
Market Intelligence:

To gather insight from the Dealer Network on price changes.

To manage and facilitate MBSA Market studies with external service provider to provide a scope of work for service provider to deliver on.
Audits: To manage and facilitate all audit requirements for the AS S&M team.
Self-Development: Taking personal responsibility for learning & development through a process of assessment, reflection & actioning. This can include both on and/or off the job training. This also includes the sharing of learnings with Team.
