The key purpose of this role is to effectively control goods received and goods issued through proper store management practices to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Identify and QC all received engineering spares and goods
- Assist with correct binning
- Ensure timely delivery of goods, and constant availability
- Verify that the goods comply with the order and meet the required specifications
- Minimise out of stock events
- Financial control
- Ensure a safe, healthy and risk-free work environment
- Proper storage of goods
- Apply SHEQ procedures
- Maintain workplace safety, housekeeping and risk-free standards
- Goods are GRN’d on receipt from suppliers and coincides with delivery note.
- Deviations from delivery notes are escallated
- Invoices are GRN’d when received
Profile:
- Matric
- National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Degree/Diploma in Logistics Management
- 2-3 years Stock management experience
- Maintenance Planning
- SAP Knowledge
