DURATION – 18 MONTHS
POSITION: APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER (2)
SUMMARY OF THE PURPOSE
To be responsible for applications and software design, development, enhancement and maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Implement the Authority’s systems development standards, methods and procedures.
➢ Develop all applications systems specifications, designs, source code, modules, packages, required integrations between the systems, phase out and retire old products
➢ Conduct tests and reports for both system and integration to ensure compliance and stability as well as to carry out application testing for new software programs to ensure accuracy.
➢ Provide quality assurance on source code, documentation, and end-products developed by mid-level developers, in line with the Authority’s systems development standards, methods and procedures.
➢ Conduct regression testing for software enhancement on existing applications.
➢ Collaborate with Business and Process Analysts and Service Owners to ensure understanding of business priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Design/Computer Science/ Engineering or Information Technology/Systems or related field
PLUS Three (3) years of demonstrable and progressive workexperience in software development or programming and Strong knowledge of Business Application Development and/or Programming
Competences:
