We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position;
Executive chef x 1
Job title: Executive chef
Reports to: Hotel Manager
๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
- Manage daily operations in the kitchen
- Manages stock levels
- Supervises kitchen staff during shifts
- Oversees the food preparation process
- Ensures that appropriate standards of hygiene are adhered according to the laws of Lesotho
- Manages staff scheduling
- Ability to train kitchen staff on alaโ carte presentation
- Develop recipes and menus for alaโ carte and conferencing
- Should possess leadership qualities skills such as problem solving, decision making and time management
๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ซ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to cook in large scale for groups of 100-200 people.
- Diploma in culinary arts or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to relocate
