We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position;

Executive chef x 1

Job title: Executive chef
Reports to: Hotel Manager

๐‘๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ:

  • Manage daily operations in the kitchen
  • Manages stock levels
  • Supervises kitchen staff during shifts
  • Oversees the food preparation process
  • Ensures that appropriate standards of hygiene are adhered according to the laws of Lesotho
  • Manages staff scheduling
  • Ability to train kitchen staff on alaโ€™ carte presentation
  • Develop recipes and menus for alaโ€™ carte and conferencing
  • Should possess leadership qualities skills such as problem solving, decision making and time management

๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ซ๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to cook in large scale for groups of 100-200 people.
  • Diploma in culinary arts or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to relocate
