Job Title: HEAD of SITE PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
To lead all manufacturing engineering, encompassing process development projects, providing superior technical knowledge. The intention would be that the applicant fill this managerial role. However, we would accept supervisory level candidate who have the potential to become the manager within a 3-year period.
This position will report to Site Manager and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
• To drive site improvement in terms of productivity, quality and safety.
• To advise production teams about tasks, projects and operations.
• To manage the planning and design methods to improve existing procedures.
• Must be capable of resolving and escalating concerns from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
• To oversee the analysis of schedules and production requirements.
• To review headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of production.
• To develop, implement and recommend revisions or enhancements of processes and tools.
• To support and oversee new installations and plants until production efficiencies and goals are met.
• Develop job completion schedules and monitor their progress.
• Coordinate new equipment installations and line trials.
• To oversee planned and unplanned maintenance and improvement of production lines.
• Undertake continuous training and development of subordinates.
• To oversee efficiency and functionality of all processes
• To support the planning team in the development of production schedules that match capacity levels.
THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for this position are:
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Production Engineering specialty
• 3 – 5 years working experience, preferably in production environment.
• Understanding manufacturing process.
• Develop, engage and retain a team of employees.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize activities.
• Strong time management skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
