Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions tenable in the Ministry of Health.
JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT ORTHOPAEDIC TECHNICIAN
GRADE: D
NO. OF POSITION: TWO (2)
RESPONSIBLE TO: ORTHOPAEDIC TECHNICIAN
JOB SUMMARY
To have assembled simple Orthapeadic and assisted during measurements taking
- Assemble simple Orthopaedic appliances
- Fit simple clinical devices
- Repair Orthopaedic devices
- Maintain the proper alignment of the appliances
- Train patients on use & care of appliance
- Collecting data from orthopaedic patients
- Ward round attendance
JOB SPECIFICATION
Certifcate in Orthotics/Prosthetics/Carpentry/leather works
All candidates who apply for positions at Grade H level and above will be subjected to assessment process as per Public Service Regulations of 2008 – Division Ill section 24 (1)
