JOB VACANCY: ADMINISTRATION OFFICER


Job Title: Administration Officer
Division: Procurement and Administration Section
Reports To: Senior Procurement and Administrator
Location: MOFDP-PMU Head Office Maseru 4th Floor MGC Office Park
Duration: 30 Months Contract
Remuneration: Competitive with Market Standards


The incumbent shall be responsible for providing leadership and guidance in implementing guidelines and procedures governing administration systems within the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning – Project Management Unit. Providing supportive role on all administration and logistics related functions to create a conducive working environment at PMU staff.


Qualification and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or Business Administration or Related fi eld in Social Sciences.
  • A minimum of Three (3) years working experience in Administration.
  • Appreciation of basic Public Administration/ Business Administration/Public Finance principles.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, Code of conduct, Financial and Stores Regulations.
  • Prior experience working in Donor Funded projects (including the Global Fund funded projects) will be an added advantage.
  • Must submit a certifi ed copy of a valid driver’s license with Minimum Three (3) years.
  • Must provide evidence of previous experience of driving light manual transmission 4×4 motor vehicle in the highlands.
