ASSISTANT LECTURER IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Applications are invited from local suitably qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Lecturer in Human Resource Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must hold both B.Comm (level 7) and Honours (level 8) in Human Resource Management or related fields, with a minimum pass of second class first division, or equivalent at both levels.
  • A successful candidate must be willing to pursue further studies in HRM and Small Business Management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be expected to:

  • Assist in teaching HRM and Small Business Management for all students of NUL.
  • Assist in teaching any courses in HRM and Business Management that can be assigned by the Department.
  • Organize business plan workshops and occasionally invite guest speakers for general entrepreneurship students.
  • Undertake research relating to HRM in small business in Lesotho.
  • Participate in the design of new programmes/courses for the Department
  • Initiate, participate in, and perform any other duty, including administration, as would be required from time to time, and as assigned by the Head of Department.

CONTRACT TERMS

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable terms for Locals, and Two Years’ Contract for Non-Locals with a possibility of renewal.
