Welcome to the Bacha Entrepreneurship Project (BEP), a transformative initiative aimed at empowering young Basotho entrepreneurs to unleash their potential and drive economic growth in Lesotho.
BEP, a collaborative effort between Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), Standard Lesotho Bank (SLB), and Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO), was established to combat youth unemployment by fostering a culture of entrepreneurship among the youth. Since its inception in 2014, BEP has successfully funded and developed 28 businesses across various sectors of the economy, creating over 100 jobs and capacitating 188 aspiring entrepreneurs with essential skills.
Competition Now Open!
We are excited to announce that the competition for the Bacha Entrepreneurship Project 2024 is now open! We invite eligible youth aged 21 to 35, who have completed their Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC)/Lesotho General Certificate School Education (LGCSE) or above, or have been operating businesses for at least two years, to submit their innovative business proposals.
The deadline for proposal submission is 28th June 2024.
