NAKS LOUNGE
Position: Bartender/Waitress
Job Summary: The waitress will provide excellent customer service to patrons in a
lively club setting. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving beverages, handling
customer inquiries, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Note: Applicants residing around Ha Makhalanyane are most preferred
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
o Greet and seat customers promptly.
o Take accurate beverage orders.
o Serve orders in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Order Management:
o Use the point-of-sale system to process payments.
o Ensure all orders are accurate and meet customer expectations.
o Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with care.
3. Beverage Service:
o Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following Naks Lounge policies
and legal guidelines.
4. Customer Interaction:
o Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience.
o Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and courteously.
5. Cleanliness and Safety:
o Maintain cleanliness of tables, floors and service stations.
o Follow health and safety regulations.
o Clear and reset tables quickly to accommodate new customers.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven work experience as a waitress or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairing and preparation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• At Least CoSC/LGCSE.
• Prior experience in a bar, club, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 kilos.
Prolonged standing and walking.
Working Conditions:
• Fast-paced club environment with loud music.
• Interaction with diverse clientele.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.
