1. Business Analyst (1 position) Lesotho based
A Business Analyst responsible for analysing and documenting business requirements and processes, and providing insights to develop Digital Solutions that meets the client’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences.
Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives and challenges
- Elicit, document and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams
Solution design:
- Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
- Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization’s strategic goals and technological capabilities.
Documentation:
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance:
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.
- Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality.
- Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix to measure features against requirements.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
- Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Business Analyst certification required (CBAP, CCBA)
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Proficient in utilising modern business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel)
- Strong understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, and solution design
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business challenges
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience in the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies is preferred
