COMPUTER SCIENCE (CS) & INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) TEACHER – POST NO. 9113
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Computer Science (CS) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Secondary Section at the National University of Lesotho International School (NULIS). The school has a roll of about 348 students in the Primary Section (Reception – Grade 6) and 273 students in the Secondary Section (S1 – S4). The students come from varying socioeconomic and multicultural backgrounds. The successful candidate will be required to teach the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Computer Science (CS) & Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the NULIS Secondary Section and will be expected to participate fully in extracurricular activities.
Description: Secondary Teacher (Computer Science (CS) & Information and Communication Technology (ICT))
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduate teacher (BSc. Ed and/or BSc + PGDE or equivalent) with majors in Computer Science (CS) and Information & Communication Technology (ICT).
- A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience at
Secondary/High school level is a prerequisite.
- Experience at International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), a relevant post-graduate degree and ability to teach Physics will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To teach the IGCSE Computer Science (CS) and Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) in the NULIS Secondary Section (S1 – S4).
- To conduct at least two extra-curricular activities and one club offered By the school.
- To participate fully in all school activities and functions.
- To further teach the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) computer and/or Physics When the school launches this program.

Employment type:
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable terms for Locals, and Two Years Contract for Non-Locals with a possibility of renewal.
