Position: Employee Benefits Consultant
To provide a full range of employee benefits – with a particular focus on health consulting (medical aid) services to corporate clients and individuals. To manage and communicate renewals, rebroking, new business acquisitions and provide technical information and advice to clients and insurers. Provide pro-active liaison on general communication, claims processes and premium management between clients and medical aid providers/insurers/ administrators. Communication liaison between the company and its clients to help ensure client satisfaction.
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
• Relationship management with various client contacts.
• Understand the client’s priorities.
• HR and Member education on services and products available carried on a regular basis
• Conduct comprehensive annual medical scheme review and facilitate necessary adjustments including option and provider changes.
• Study, internalize and advise both the business and the clients on the trends in the economic sectors allocated to you
• Grow accounts organically.
• Provide dynamic support to clients on monthly billings and ensure timely reconciliation thereafter
• Ensure timely premium settlement, receipting and allocation of premiums for the accounts within your management.
• Managing clients queries and coordination between members and healthcare providers.
• Managing health awareness sessions for member groups.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3 Year Diploma in Insurance and/or Bachelor of Commerce or other relevant degree desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years insurance experience with a clear record and experience in Medical Aid consulting.
• A good working knowledge of Employee Benefits and/or Life Insurance products which include among others, Retirement Funds, Group Risk, Retirement Annuities, Investments and Credit Life will be an added advantage
