  • The Finance team all based in Tikoe Industrial Area, Maseru, Lesotho are trusted with the responsibility of ensuring the  a good functioning Finance team and a very roburst internal controls environment. This is encapsulated in production of accrurate and ontime Budget/Forecasts and monthly perfomance report to key stakeholders.

  • As the local team, we have full intergration to the regional SAF Adient structure with most support functions leadership based in South Africa.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Coordinates the Profit Plan and Outlook processes.  Must ensure accuracy and limited variance. 
  • Maintains accurate balance sheet accounts and corresponding reconciliations.  Conducts regular reviews to ensure accuracy.
  • Responsible for providing financial planning and business analysis as it relates to a specific business group/area, and to provide senior management insight into financial trends.
  • Ensures Month end process is accurate and executed according to timeline.
  • Supports P&L improvements.  Identifies and supports cost improvements and program profitability activities. 
  • assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts (monthly, quarterly and annual) as well as providing competitive informational financial analysis and other forms of benchmarking
  • Maintains a robust internal control environment aligned to the company Business Operating System and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Supports all compliance, internal and external audit activities.
  • Manages the development of cost standards and expense budgets to establish acceptable bases for measuring product cost, expense control and plant performance.
  • Prepares and supports Capital Appropriation Requests including financial justification in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Partners with the Commercial team on Pricing and Commercial issues.
  • Leads Plant through implementation of new finance and accounting processes and procedures.
  • Develops/maintains financial models

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Economics or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar industry, preferably automotive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy including High level of excel skills.
