GROUP LEGAL & COMPLIANCE OFFICER
The Alliance Group Investment Holding Company Limited has the opportunity for a Group Legal and Compliance Officer to join the team to provide technical support in compliance, legal and commercial to ensure that the Group complies with the regulatory and legislative requirements.
THE CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO:
- Draft legal and policy documents, vetting of contracts, legal matters/instruments and compliance processes within the Group.
- Attend all legal correspondences such letters of demands or court processes received within the Group.
- Provide advice, guidance and training on regulatory requirements such as AML/CFT & Sanctions related matters to the Group to educate employees on their responsibilities and promote awareness of compliance obligations.
- Develop and manage compliance programs to minimise instances of non-compliance.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor of Law Degree, LLB, LLM,
BCom Law or related field - A minimum of three (3) working experience of a legal environment in contract management, litigation and or in regulatory compliance experience.
(Experience in a regulated financial services industry in Lesotho will be an added advantage)
