Composed of individual teams that handle Strategy, New Business Initiatives, Partnerships and Account Management, the department leads a global supply-focused initiative that works with brand partners, retailers and power sellers to secure new inventory and widen exposure for GOAT Group. As our company continues to expand both at home and abroad, you will play an integral part in this exciting next chapter.
We are looking for an exceptional Planner, who will be responsible for driving the business through the development, execution and communication of global product sales and inventory plans, wholesale planning oversight and buying and consignment strategies that will support the company’s financial goals. This position facilitates cross functional relationships with data analytics, marketing, finance and operations and reports to the Director of Business Operations.
In this role you will:
- Develop data-driven forecasting, planning, and buying processes to support the growth of GOAT Group’s global apparel and footwear businesses
- Create and implement forecasts for annual and seasonal sales and inventory targets, leveraging internal and industry data to advise the Business Development & Revenue teams’ buying strategies and assortment plans
- Collaborate with revenue, marketing, and account management teams to drive top-down and bottom-up demand and inventory plans resulting in the achievement of financial goals
- Identify and present business risks and opportunities with recommended course of action to reach financial goals and optimize performance
- Analyze key KPIs by brand to inform markdown strategies and upcoming seasonal purchases
We are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning, and Allocation
- Strong business, analytical, and financial acumen with a proven track record driving results
- A data-driven approach to problem solving with a high degree of comfort analyzing and understanding large sets of data in order to make informed decisions
- Demonstrated organizational, time management and analytical skills
