Zen is looking for a PR Coordinator to join our happy, hungry, and growing team.
In this role, you will work with a variety of clients across industries, focused on the entrepreneurial and tech space. Reporting to our Director of Media Relations, you will be part of a fast-paced team that is able to deliver meaningful experiences to our clients. Proven ability to work collaboratively is a must!
Job Description:
- Coordinating projects, meetings, and tasks for both new and existing PR accounts/clients of the Employer;
- Assisting in strategizing and executing PR campaigns for clients of the employer;
- Assisting fellow employees with their assigned tasks;
- Write and pitch to bloggers and the media for clients of the employer;
- Writing press releases;
- Managing communications with clients of the Employer via e-mail, telephone, mobile phone, online chat, in person, or any other reasonable and professional method;
- Managing communications between the Employer, all staff, any contractors, and the Employer’s existing and prospective clients in order to ensure a productive and amicable relationship between said parties. In other words, the Employee shall serve as a liaison between the Employer, the staff, any contractors, and the Employer’s prospective and existing clients;
- Actively seeking out potential persons and/or business entities who will promote the business of the Employer and serve as resources for client referrals for the Employer;
- Participating in the development of client strategy, timelines, and action plans for the Employer’s projects;
- Providing customer service for prospective clients and existing clients of Employer;
- Gathering client feedback, reporting findings to Employer and making recommendations to Employer in light of the client feedback and findings;
- Researching various topics;
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, journalism, business or public relations.
- 2-3 years of industry experience preferred
- Agency experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to execute complex deliverables on deadline
- Ability to juggle multiple clients and tasks at once
- Conduct client research
- Create fact sheets/speaker sheets for client subject matter experts
- Act as account executive/project manager on PR accounts
