Position: Principal Financial Investigation Officers × 8

Grade: H

Responsible to: Chief Asset Recovery Litigation Officer

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of Chief Asset Recovery Litigation Officer, the incumbent will perform professional financial/analytical and law enforcement work in the detection, investigation, and asset recovery in line with applicable civil and/or criminal laws.

Duties:

1. To conduct financial investigation in support of Asset Recovery Unit;

2. To conduct lifestyle audit and analysis:

3. To dratft financial investigation report;

4. Provide litigation support to both civil litigation officers and prosecution;

5. Assist curators in the execution of orders;

6. To conduct tracing and location of property:

7. To apply warrants for urgent seizure proceedings;

8. Testify in judicial proceedings.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION:

Other added advantages:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Audit, PLUS three (3) experience in financial investigation and auditing.

• Post-Graduate Diploma in Forensic Financial Investigation PLUS (two) 2 years in financial investigation and audit

• Certified Fraud Examiner

OR

• Have knowledge in 12 tool analysis and notebook plus asset recovery

OTHER SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE COMPETENCIES:

1. Must have extensive knowledge in relevant legislation

2. Must have knowledge in Microsoft office application (word, Excel, Outlook, Access and power point)

3. Ability to draft professional analytical investigative report and/affidavits in support of both court litigation civil and criminal

4. Must have high ethical standards and adherence to professional conduct.

5. Must have valid driver’s license.
