REVENUE SERVICES LESOTHO – The RSL is searching for experienced, passionate, energetic, and resilient Lesotho Citizens to occupy the positions below. DURATION – 18 MONTHS

POSITION: PROJECT PROCUREMENT

SPECIALIST (1)

SUMMARY OF PURPOSE

To lead projects procurement, initiate payment of suppliers and ensure compliance to suppliers’ contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

➢ Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.

➢ Evaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria.

➢ Analyze supplier bids and negotiating contracts.

➢ Maintain accurate records and track all procurement activities.

➢ Research and identify prospective suppliers.

➢ Liaise with internal project teams and maintain strong supplier relations.

➢ Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.

➢ Create and submit government reports and tax returns related to projects.

➢ Compile information for internal and external auditors as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain Management or a related field

PLUS 3 years’ experience as a procurement specialist, or similar. Experience in donor-funded projects Supply Chain processes will be an added advantage

Competences

– Strong negotiation and communication skills

– Ability to analyse and evaluate vendor proposals and contracts

– Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
