Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Position Overview
Sales and Marketing Manager will play a key role in assisting the Chief Executive Officer to strategically execute key functions aligned with Transafrica Life Insurance’s sales and marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring and forecasting for better understanding of market.
• Continually assess marketing techniques and their efficiency in affecting sales.
• Stay up to date on current market trends.
• Work in collaboration with the sales team to achieve sales growth.
• Supervise sales and marketing personnel.
• Take calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition.
• Participate in strategic collaborations to creatively reach more potential customers.
• Actively participates in industry and stakeholder engagements.
• Manage and maintain client relationships.
• Increase productivity by leading sales team to onboard new business and monitor conversion of leads.
• Inspires and motivates employees.
• Generates unique sales plans and create engaging advertisements.
• Researching and developing market opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements.
• Sales and marketing reports and presentations.
• Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching and managing marketing and sales to meet business objectives.
• Analyzing budgets and ensuring that sales team meet their targets and goals.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• 3 years’ working experience preferably in a financial institution.
