Sales Consultant

An opportunity exists to join this Investor in People Company in the above capacity. Metropolitan Lesotho is a wholly owned subsidiary of Momentum Metropolitan Group, a company registered on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. We are currently looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual in the position of Sales Consultant in all the districts of Lesotho. The salary structure for the position is 100% commission. The incumbent will report directly to the Sales Manager.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Attract, acquire, and retain clients by selling company products to generate new business and to provide after sales service to clients to ensure client retention, increase market share and contribute to the overall business objectives and its long-term viability.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Engage with prospective clients to highlight the features and benefits of various products based on their financial wellness needs to support and guide their decision-making process
  • Sell products in line with client’s financial needs by conducting affordability analysis to achieve clients’ financial goals
  • Achieve set targets on production, quality, and conversion.
  • Adhere to compliance requirements in the sales process in line with legislative requirements.
  • Provide financial advice in line with the engagement strategy to enhance client’s financial wellness.
  • Investigate client queries within the agreed service level and ensure that client receives timeous feedback.
  • Escalate client queries to the relevant department or stakeholder.
  • Provide accurate information and advice to clients and stakeholders to ensure that the client receives the appropriate services.
  • Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and in terms of overall customer targets.
  • Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
  • Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
  • Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback, and provides exceptional client service.
  • Proactively build and maintain client relationships by presenting our innovative and trustworthy product offerings through professional and and credible Financial Advisory services

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma in Business related qualification or
    • Certificate of proficiency in Insurance or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
    • 2 years related Field sales experience in loh-term insurance with Proof of success.
