The Institute of Development Management (IDM) is a regional organisation, with campuses in Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini providing management development through Education, Training, Research and Consultancy (ETRC). IDM now wishes to appoint highly motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
Senior Lecturer – Business Information and Resource Management (BIRM)
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director Academics Services, the Senior Lecturer will:
- Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes
- Manage consultancies and research projects
- Oversee course administration, moderation and assessment
- Market IDM products and services, ensuring excellent customer relations
- Ensure compliance with IDM policies and systems
- Lead curriculum development and review
- Prepare learners for projects and practicums
- Manage taught programs and day-to-day operations
- Develop credit and non-credit bearing courses
- Conduct management consultancies, including needs analysis and on-site investigations
This position calls for an individual with the following qualifications and experience:
- Master’s Degree in Business Management with majors in Finance or Accounting or Master’s Degree in Financial /Accounting Management
- Training in Project Management / Monitoring and Evaluation / Purchasing and Stores Management or Logistics Management is an added advantage.
- Three (3) years’ experience in a teaching environment or managerial position
