SENIOR LECTURER

The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above position.
Requirements:
The applicant should have the following credentials:
- A PhD in Economics with a coursework
- Strong background in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and Quantitative Methods/Techniques
- Expert in Development Microeconomics (Health, Labour, Environmental or Public Finance).
- Publications in recognized or accredited journals, and experience in tertiary level teaching of the above-mentioned courses will be an added advantage.
Duties and responsibilities:
The incumbent will be expected to lecture courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, supervise and monitor student’s projects/dissertations.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Type of employment:
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable terms for Locals, and Two Years
Contract for Non-Locals with a possibility of renewal.
