Your Role:
We are looking for a passionate and pragmatic User Experience (UX) Designer who is eager to join a fun, collaborative and innovative team. His/Her role is to understand the business and end-user’s needs in order to translate those needs into intuitive, transformational experiences. The User Experience Designer is a team player and assists with various Experience Design activities throughout a project lifecycle and collaborates extremely well with User Interface Designers.
you’llbe responsible fordelivering design and innovation across severalfacetsof the design process, includingsketching,prototyping, storyboarding, information architecture, interaction design, and usability.You’llleverageand contribute to Alpaca design patterns and work in an iterative manner, scoping and prioritizing work across multiple projects.You’llbe anadvocate for the userand champion industry-leading, inclusive,anduser-centered design practices.
Things You Get To Do:
- Own and advance the team’s design vision across products and API developer experiences
- Create and experiment with compelling UX designs, leveraging Alpaca design standards
- Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors
- Set the user experience bar and provide unique insights for our team’s products via quantitative and qualitative research, data, and user studies you initiate
- Synthesize conflicting qualitative and quantitative data to inform CX and business decisions
- Present and critique in organizational design reviews
- Evangelize best practices in the organization in an effort to help evolve Alpaca design standards
Who You Are (Must-Haves):
- 5+ years experience delivering design solutions, interaction design, and/or user interface design
- Proficiency in utilizing modern design tools, techniques and patterns to deliver compelling user experiences and designs
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), design, or equivalent professional experience
