For August 2024 Machabeng College has vacancies for the following:
Position: TEACHER OF ENGLISH
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BEd. preferably with Special Education.
• English with Drama/English with Geography will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE : Five years minimum.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following expectations:
EXPECTATIONS:
• Demonstrate an understanding of international mindedness and respect for cultural diversity.
• Proficiency in French and Spanish, with a deep understanding of language acquisition principles (For language teachers).
• Adherence to the Child Protection International Code and recognition of learners as central to the learning institution.
• Familiarity with current standards and indicators for schools accredited by CIS, NEASC, and AISA off eringboth IGCSE and IB Diploma qualifications.
• Proficiency in the application of ICT as a teaching and learning tool.
• Competence in Learner-Centered teaching methods and the delivery of 21st-century teaching skills.
• Capacity to offer an extra-curricular activity that enriches the student’s learning experience.
• Flexibility and willingness to collaborate as part of a dynamic team.
• Readiness to undertake extra responsibilities as needed.
