All types of photos are welcome: Digital, Film, Drone, or Mobile, in either Color or Black & White. The contest is open to Koreans and those of any nationality.
A total of $4,800 (6,600,000 KRW) in prizes will be awarded to 22 winners.
Participants must submit a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 works featuring Jeju Island. A picture sequence or a set of pictures is considered as one piece of work.
The following prizes will be awarded as part of the 16th JEJU International PHOTO Contest.
- Grand Prize (1): 2,000,000 KRW with a certificate of merit
- Gold Prize (1): 1,000,000 KRW with a certificate of merit
- Silver Prize (2): 600,000 KRW each with a certificate of merit
- Bronze Prize (3): 300,000 KRW each with a certificate of merit
- Fine Work Prize (15): 100,000 KRW each with a certificate of merit (Incl. tax)
All rights of prize winning works – such as copyright, property right and the right of use etc. – belong to the organizer.
The contest is hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and Donga ilbo.
Through the contest the organizers hope you discover and spread the beauty of Jeju-Island around the world.
