The Prize celebrates and promotes artists working with technology globally through its annual juried competition and exhibitions.
The Prize Fund in 2019 is $11,000, of which $4,000 are reserved for the Gold Award.
All longlisted artists, finalists and winners are eligible for exhibitions and commissions.
The 2019 Prizes are:
- Gold Award ($4,000)
- Moving Image ($1,000)
- Still Image ($1,000)
- XR ($1,000)
- 3D/Interactive Award ($1,000)
- The BCS Artificial Intelligence Award ($1,000)
- The Rapoport Award for Women in Art and Technology ($1,000)
- Photomonitor Student Prize ($500)
- People’s Choice Award ($500)
The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology annual juried competition draws entries from artists globally and has given away more than US$70,000 in prize money since its launch in 2012.
The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology 2019 – Entry Fees
There is an administration fee of $48 to enter which covers two entries. Any additional artwork is $24.
As a not-for-profit based in the UK, all entry fees go directly towards the prizes and events programme.
